When the Clan Of Crystal was founded inside a shattered cave, the residents were merely sheltering from an Arcane storm. Fallen awoke and found warmth within a pack that rested neatly between the shoulder blades of none other than the current leader. Unaware of the entity that had followed them, they settled into a nearby crevice on the shore. Fallen then took their place as a unofficial guardian, watching over the clan as they sleep.

Backstory

Not much is known about the shadow, but Fallen was a hatching, a spiral. Full of Arcane blood and energised by the constant magical reactions around her, life was full of joy and plentiful food. One night, a rival clan from the far north breached all security and stole the clan's hatchlings.

The invaders were eventually overwhelmed by the clan's defensive forces, and slaughtered without mercy. They were not fast enough, and Fallen was left to bleed out in the rain. Hers and other's bodies were never found, and after much misery it was assumed that they had been carried out by a current, never to be recovered.
