NOODLE DOODLE BY OCTOBRUSH

Hailing from a full clutch of five, Aidan and Nadia were first clearly unique in their likeness. Despite the incredibly low odds, they inherited their father's rare traits and identical colors to one another, catching the attention of the higher members of the clan.

The twins and their nestmates were slated to venture forth from the clan upon reaching maturity, to travel the lands and find their own places in the world before they would all return again when the time came to serve their beloved Glademother. The night of their departure, however, the five were blindsided with the news that Aidan and Nadia would not be going with them on the journey; their unique skills and ability to communicate without speaking on the battlefield had caught the eye of the clan's resident training masters, Ruben and Topaz. As such, the Elder Imperials, with such high command as they held within the clan, chose the twin Spirals as their successors to lead the clan into the next era of defense.

Their remaining three nestmates did leave on their journey, while the twins stayed behind. The siblings said their goodbyes, knowing it would not be until they all lived out their days and returned home to the source of life they had all originated from that they would ever meet again. Despite the melancholy of being separated, the twins strengthened their bond with each other in place of what they had lost, and faced their future with pride.
