Meridian and her brother Atlas were born into the Ice flight. While they did enjoy playing in the snow, something wasn’t right. Yes this was their home, but both dragons enjoyed the idea of exploring the unknown. Their mother would constantly scold them for poking their heads into mischief and places where they did not belong. Over time the grew distant from their home flight, their values no longer aligning with one another.

They sought to move to the an Arcane clan in order to live out their dreams. Her brother Atlas was appointed Captain of the clan’s trading ship, and Meridian became the ship’s first mate. Meridian tends to be more mature than her older brother. There are many of times where she will be caught rolling her eyes but she still loves him (most of the time).
During their travels across the land she met another spiral dragon by the name of Calderon. The two became good friends almost instantly and are now mates. Meridian still likes to collect things, a habit that she hasn’t broken from her home clan. She current hoards rose quartz and skipping stones.

Meridian was named after the meridian that runs as a constant circle of longitude on maps and globes. She was given this name because of her desire to explore the world.
