I don't know what happened to you on that hunting trip. You were just a hatchling, I knew that you were too young but you wanted to go so badly. How could I say no to that face? But when the hunting party returned without you... child, it is every parents worst nightmare. I searched, tirelessly, for hours, until I found you tangled in the roots of a tree with eyes the size of the moon. From that day on, you have not spoken a word. Your entire self is different. That vibrant, spunky little hatchling receded into a shell that you have yet to emerge from. Whatever horror you must have witness, my heart has bled for you since, and I only hope one day you are able to feel safe and comfortable in your world again..
