B I O G R A P H Y

"I'll breathe life into your unmoving lips,

Even with an appearance that could terrify most dragons, Fulcrum's ruby eyes radiate a sense of calming kindness, which helped him to pacify the most timid of dragons, and let even the wariest dragons trust him more easily. He is known to charge an exorbitant amount for his services, but he guarantees that all of his patients' sickness would be cured regardless of Flights, loyalties, species, or even clans. In spite of this, nasty rumors circulate around him, calling him a gambler, a liar, or just plain greedy person. It is also known that those who failed or unable to pay him was never seen again. Children, elderly, warriors... Those who refuse or unable to pay went missing, their descendants disappearing one by one.

Investigative efforts have been made, and all have failed to incriminate him, as nothing more than conjectures and theories was able to cast him in a suspicious light. He treated the law enforcers with kindness, and let all insults and gossips about him roll atop his scales, showing everyone nothing but a calm, unnerving attitude. Eventually, the enforcers had to admit defeat and gave up, reduced to keeping one eye on him, trying to find literally anything that can be used against him, which he responded with, again, the calm attitude of his that borders on unnerving for the savvy dragons.

B I O G R A P H Y

The dragons he took were stripped off from their scales and internal organs, often while alive, and the rest were fed to his familiar, Ellie, this brutal act eventually staining his white scales with dried blood. The organs would then be used for his personal quest for resurrection, as a replacement to Kyrie's broken organs, before he ground the scales into dust and mixed it with the water that held Kyrie's body, hidden deep within Fortress of Ends. He would then infuse the water with electricity while draining it, restoring Kyrie for the briefest of moments to attempt communication, before she returned to death once more until Fulcrum attempts his next resurrection. The money he obtained from his patients would then be used for research, or to purchase a healthy hatchling from nearby clans and raise them, before they meet their inevitable end.

Along with Kyrie's corpse, Fulcrum lives in the highest mountain of the Southern Icefields, the cold allowing him to preserve his "ingredients" and keeping him on his toes for survival thanks to his Plague origin. His formerly pure white coat was mocked, and he was shoved into the Wyrmwound many times as a joke. However, he retained his pure white coat, and subsequently earned the respect of his fellow plaguelings, even as they continued the running joke of shoving him. He eventually left his former clan for his calling, and he met Kyrie on the way, as he crossed the Shifting Expanse. Kyrie died just before reaching the Fortress of Ends due to a Beastclan attack, and she used her last breath to profess her love to him.

Kyrie's body was stored in a majestic glass cylinder with golden borders, and occasionally Fulcrum can be heard professing his love to her. The few brave souls still seek his skills with the knife and the body, even as the threat of death looms behind his very visage.
