Ula is a dragon's dream: Smart, caring, funny, sweet, and absolutely gorgeous. Her nurturing nature put her into the role of watching over nests and babysitting hatchlings, which also means being the perfect, responsible role model for young dragons and preparing her or others for motherhood. Her soothing voice puts dragons to sleep, and her fair but not too strict discipline impresses parents. Outside of the nests, Ula usually volunteers to help clean, prepare meals, organize materials and run errands while meditating and collecting seashells in her free time. Despite her generosity, do not let her kindness and beauty deceive you, for she is not one to be taken advantage of. Ula knows it is her duty to protect and provide, and she will defend anyone in the clan no matter what, even if it means initiating combat in front of helpless hatchlings.

______ Ula originates from Wispwellow Grove in the Tangled Wood, being able to witness the beauty of the dark forest and the playful personalities of other shadow dragons constantly attempting to capture fireflies. She was raised by herself, and surrounded by an atmosphere of fun and games, she wanted someone to share it with, resulting in her desire for a sibling or just a good friend. When she got older, she watched over many younger dragons who explored the shadowy wilderness and trained many familiars, including her own Zalis, who was found injured and alone in the bright tree branches. She then went on to tame the Zalis, naming her Sapphire to appreciate her bold blue feathers. Once old enough, Ula was able to travel on her own, and had a strange attraction to the Sea of a Thousand Currents when she was introduced to the idea.


______ Finally reaching the Water Flight territory, she was greeted with both curiosity and hostility, for many dragons believed that dragons as friendly as her were to be skeptical about, but Ula assumed they thought that since they have never been treated so nicely before. After many attempts to find a place to stay, Ula sat on a warm sandy shore, exhausted from the many opinions of others and the perplexing invites to be a mate or just mother to a stranger and their kids. It was there that Tempest was intrigued by Ula’s loving nature towards passing by dragons and gestures towards Sapphire, thus making him approach her and introduce her to Kaimana. Ula, seeing Tempest’s purple shades already reminding her of home, accepted the warm invite to at least try to see her place within the clan, in which she moved in comfortably.
