Storm is a sailor. That is the simplest way to put it. However, she is much, much more than that.
You see, she gained her title by being the fiercest pirate the oceans around the Isles had ever seen, with her temperament being as rough and shocking as the clouds' rains were. She appears kind at a glance, being patient with new recruits and those who have been on hard times, but with dragons she knows for a fact are experienced and perfectly competent at their work, she'll beat them down, beat them down, and won't let up until she gets her way with them. Many a time, there have been rumors of her tossing old crewmates overboard because of an out-of-control argument, but she has neither confirmed nor denied these statements, simply laughing a bit to herself before telling the dragon(s) asking her about it to get back to their work.
As of recently, she has begun to settle down, for age is catching up to her quickly, and she can't afford to be as reckless as she once was. Perhaps, now, she'll take up a calmer profession, leaving the hard work to her old partner. Maybe she'll be a meteorologist or something. Bringing news of the new Storms headed towards the ocean.

Third-gen Bogsneak on her father's side; her Grandpa Kazan chose to become one (he was the son of a Wildclaw and a Snapper). Goes back more generations than that on Mom's side.
