Thales (TA-lehs) Greek name meaning "to blossom"

Thales is a recently-converted (unofficial) pearl cerdae; as a result, vir body is slowly becoming more equine-like as a magic seed grows and changes vir from within. Bushy lavender plants grow from vir back in place of functional wings, and crocus buds sprout from vir mane. |
Although vi spent vir whole adolescence with vir family in the Arcane region, Thales was told by vir fortune-telling mother Zira that vi would one day take a treacherous journey across Sornieth to find vir destiny. As a child, vi dreaded the thought of leaving vir beloved siblings and the only way of life that vi knew. Vi had seen many of vir mother's predictions come true, often in unforeseen ways, so the notion of this prediction coming true at any time was always looming. And what is a "destiny," anyway? Vi just wanted to live a normal and fulfilling life, but having a destiny sounds like a lot of responsibility.
Thales strove to enjoy life in the moment in spite of vir fortune. Vi was particularly close to vir brother Meridian, since both siblings enjoyed experimenting with fashion. Their parents expected their offspring to be proper and studious, but they remained mischievous even into adulthood.
Thales eventually fell for another pearlcatcher named Jupiter; who was a similarly rebellious elder sibling in their own family. They had managed to survive a journey across the entire Plague region to get to the Arcane region from their Shadow hatchclan. The pair hatched a nest together, and shortly afterwards they decided to join a group of dragons migrating to Wind. Thales wondered if vir mother's fortune had been fulfilled-- although the trip across the sea to reach Wind had been difficult, it wasn't exactly "across Sornieth" like Zira had said all those years ago.

<Old appearance (Old lore, feel free to change it as you wish c:) Tanza is the second most beautiful and kindest of her siblings. Though she is expected to be the "proper" sibling compared to the others, she's obsessed with steampunk attire. You can often find her with her brother, Meridian, in the marketplace looking for the "perfect apparel" or visiting Yachdiel and Dallas' home. You may also take note that she is quite childish at times, especially when she's with her brother, again refusing the expectations of others. |
