Biography
A B O U T
An assassin of a peculiar breed, he has a well-educated taste in victims – At least, that’s how he sees it. Being of shadow affinity but coming from two light parents, he has a penchant for logicality but craves games and amusement. He was raised to know endless information, trivia drilled into his brain from a young age. Brighter than all of his peers, he was restless with his boundless information, bored because there were none who could match his wit. He needed the adrenaline surge of overtaking someone with his smarts, and for that reason, he became a sophisticated assassin. He would only take on missions where he was perusing someone who would make the challenge interesting, someone who could match wits with him as they played cat and mouse to see who would find whom first. It was a dangerous game where he would hunt a complex prey, one that required perfect strategizing and a brilliant mind – Something more suited for him. It could take him weeks, even months if the one who he was after was particularly cunning. He’d go the extra mile, if he was dealing with a more confident victim, by leaving them a note challenging them to a dangerous game. If they were to win, he would stop his pursuit and allow them to live, but if they lost the board game, they would die. He always makes sure that he wins, often through an underhanded tactic or through a hidden clause to evade one of the rules in the game. As for the one who lost, one can’t help but notice that his wings have been outfitted with steel alloy on each feather, allowing them to be as sharp as the tip of a sword. His weakness lies in his same arrogance; if someone were to be able to see through his trickery and defeat him, be it in the chase or at his own games, he would be gobsmacked. Not having the satisfaction of being able to dominate someone intellectually would sink into him and destroy him from the inside out. He was raised his whole life believing that he was smart, he was gifted; if there is someone out there who could beat him, he would be devastated. Another pet peeve, and an odd one: It was his mother who named him Shiya, and so the name is something very personal to him. He cannot stand it when his quarry discovers his name and calls him by it. It’s much too personal – Something doesn’t click in his head right when he’s called it by a stranger. lore and coding credit: x |
