Standing on top of a broken wall you unfold Afar's parchment again. The warm wind gusts and pulls at the parchment. It reads, "Go to the ruins at the southwest cliff's edge and look down at the inlet waters. Fortuna and the Dawnbringers hang out around there. P.S. take sweets!" You wander over and around the ancient stones to the edge. The sun is eye-watering bright and glistens on the water below. Shading your eyes, you gaze over the cliffs and stare hard at anything that might be a distant dragon. Something tugs on the bag of apples slung over your shoulder. Startled, you whip around to face a large smiling Imperial. "Helloooo, Traveler! Looking for someone to share those Honeycrisp apples, perhaps?" and her eyes sparkle playfully as she laughs. "I am called Lucky. Pleased to make your acquaintance." She gives you a slight elegant bow and settles back, waiting and hums a catchy tune. โงโงโงโงโงโงโงโงโงโง Follow, follow the sun and which way the wind blows when this day is done. Breathe, breathe in the air. Set your intentions. Dream with care. Tomorrow is a new day for everyone, Brand new moon, brand new sun. So follow, follow the sun, the direction of the birds, the direction of love. Breathe, breathe in the air, cherish this moment, cherish this breath. Tomorrow is a new day for everyone, brand new moon, brand new sun. When you feel life coming down on you, like a heavy weight. When you feel this crazy society, adding to the strain. Take a stroll to the nearest waters edge remember your place. Many moons have risen and fallen long, long before you came. So which way is the wind blowin', and what does your heart say? Solstice Dawnbringers are harbingers of luck and good fortune for the new year. Created soon after the fall of the Hewn City, they experienced a terrible tragedy when the first Solstice Dawnbringers fell shortly before Brightshine Jubilee. Arisen a year later, the first Solstice Dawnbringers taught dragonkind the importance of 'Time' and 'Beginnings' with the rising and setting of the sun, and shared their concept of the calendar year with all. Time is a very important to them, and they are responsible for sculpting the Sundial Terrace. Throughout the year, they have the ability to grant small wishes, but every year when they gather for the Sornieth New Year and Brightshine Jubilee, they grant one wish, any wish, to a single Dragon. (Source: Lux Historia, Vol. III, Chapter 1) Dawnbringers spend their days contently doing their daily rituals and enjoying the outdoors. Being attuned to the world around them, they prefer to do things outside under the sunlight. That being said, when storms blow in or the weather turns chilly, they can sit inside all day in rituals and reading or writing their manuscripts. Solstice Personality: Tend to appear unfriendly, but donโt judge them too quickly. Naturally socially awkward, they are actually fairly friendly and open to meeting and making new friends. Their Clanmates should approach them first though, as they are not the best at starting conversations. It's worth the effort to get them talking as they are intelligent and creative. Also extremely secretive, so donโt be surprised if they refuse to talk about a certain subject. One thing they love to talk about is their profession. That is usually a good topic to start with. Ceremony of Dawning Light: The Dawnbringers most special and sacred ritual is the one they hold yearly at Brightshine Jubilee. It is one of the few ceremonies where all dragons across Sornieth are invited to watch, and on very rare occasions, participate in. The ceremony begins before the break of dawn and all Dawnbringers gather at the base of the Beacon. As soon as the crack of dawn appears, the Dawnbringers take off and soar together in a very slow arch across the sky, as if they were pulling the sun up. It is a very high honor to be asked to join in the flight, and all who witness it say it's as if they were watching an incredibly large and beautiful rainbow stretch across the sky with the multi-colors of the Dawnbringers glinting in the rising sun's light.

Fortuna was the last hatchling from a 5-egg nest on the first day of Brightshine Jubilee 2017 and the first of her colors on Flight Rising.
