Aeshune's history is unknown to most. Sadly, she herself is included in this. If someone were to ask, she would tell them it's a secret, and that it'd be awful boring to just tell them. In reality, she knows as little as anyone else about her past. Then again, perhaps the past doesn't matter as much as others make it out to.

What Aeshune does know, is she's happy just where she is. She had woken up in the Tangled Wood one day, and ended up exactly where she believed she belonged, if only to help others along their way. She quickly set up home in the woods of Vallis Perditorum. For a while, she was just a myth. Whispers among the small group of dragons that had started a town. A ghost story told by the children.

She had been nothing more than whispers passed through the town when someone decided to see if the rumors were true. Rafiel, fearless as ever, searched the entire forest to find her home, and not without injury. It would have been awful for her to not help, so help she did. She was allowed to stay.

Her reputation grew, then. A witch was what they called her. Some whispered she was evil, only to be scolded by others who assumed she only meant well. She didn't mind. Let them whisper, and let them spread whatever story they'd like. She'd be there to help if they needed her, and she'd be a whisper when they didn't. That kind of life wasn't for everyone, but it was fine by her.
