A mossy cerdae who was warped by the run-off radiation from Lutia's activation of the Chalcedony Seat. Unlike the others, he made use of his newfound dragonhood to pursue knowledge, and came to Aphaster voluntarily from the Windswept Plateau. With his new gift of sapience, he seeks to explore why his species is becoming so populous while the numbers of true unicorns in Sornieth continue to dwindle. Upon learning what caused his species change, he is also highly interested in atmospheric magic and leylines. He is one of few who can speak at length about magic with Ashes without getting hopelessly lost.

Like the few other dragons in Clan Aphaster who were shifted from common fauna by a massive burst of raw magic Arcane fallout, he can’t assume a humanoid shape–only that of a pearlcatcher and his native cerdae form. As a result, he’s frequently mistaken for female due to his single horn and has to patiently point out that cerdae are a unicorn species.

Beastclan standings:
  • Harpies: Neutral but wary in the Summerlands, hostile elsewhere.
  • Longnecks: Across the realm, they are mutually neutral, but Focal Point Longnecks are old allies from when the clan was led by the Shards. Old agreements are being honored and the relationship is re-kindling with the founding of Horizon's Landing.
  • Centaurs: Neutral with trade agreements.
  • Maren: Limited contact, but they have good relations with the longnecks who have good relations with the clan, so there is no fear between the groups.
  • Serthis: Mixed. The highly individual nature of the tribes means they have very different standings, ranging from very good, to trade-only, to openly antagonistic.
  • Talonok: Poor, with no chance of improving.
  • Mith: Lesser known as a group, but individuals are able to find work in the clan.
  • Dryads: Working relationship which is slowly developing into warmth after the latex industry closed down.
