Bio - Tide is a water subspecies known as a Leviathan Pearlcatcher hailing from the Leviathan Trench in the Sea of A Thousand Currents. After happening upon a mysterious ancient sword deep within the dark waters, she took to land in order to research its origin.

After obtaining the sword, she suddenly found herself imbued with the knowledge of how to use it for combat despite never having trained to be a warrior of any kind beforehand, and began to desire to become stronger and more powerful in battle. She often battles by infusing the sword with her strong water magic, which elicits the blade to take on the same glowing blue runes found on her body.

She claims to have an extremely deep connection with the sword, possibly the same depth if not deeper than the connection with her own pearl. She claims that sometimes she can hear a voice from deep within it speaking an unfamiliar language, and though she doesn't understand the words that it speaks, she says that she can understand the emotions it carries. Much like her pearl, she is extraordinarily hesitant to let anyone else handle the blade or its sheath.
