When the time for Exaltation comes it is Ballad who sees to the future close companions of the great Windsinger. He is a large and intimidating sort with a stern gaze and an imposing posture, but is always there to remind even the smallest of dragons that they are incredibly powerful and important.

Balled serves directly under Vaizel and is a clear follower of everything Clan Faiewind stands for. He also happens to be the most gentle with the hatchlings and is often the default babysitter.
