Valda was born with an unknown affliction. Soon after hatching, her skin turned to mush, like a rotten fruit. Pressing her skin leaves an indentation. As she grew, her flesh rotted more. Soon an oozing slime began to seep from her pores. Her flesh sloughs off regularly... but somehow it always grows back quickly.

Abandoned by her original clan, she was taken in by Lazara. Although she's usually avoided and shunned, she grew quite a crush for one of the clan's tundras, Leonidas.

But when Leonidas shunned her too, much preferring his healthy friends... Valda grew hurt. Angry. No matter, there's a fix for everything.

So she killed him. Then resurrected his corpse to be her soulless, undead slave.

These days she has quite the little entourage of servants. This troubles some of her clanmates. However, she has finally made a friend in one of the clan's newer members, Feis. He really gets her, because he too is a necromancer and has an appreciation for death. They are best friends. Feis convinced her to take up his morbid form of gardening with him.
