 V Y C I S the unpredictable cunning • impulsive • fickle ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ A Child of the Wasteland. Nothing but Plague blood runs through her veins, unfiltered disease fuels her magic. With scales made to resemble the Mother of Pestilence she is an ode. Child of a seer and a priest, raised on beliefs and visions of a world in which survival is key. A world where disease runs rampant and where only the strong rule. Yet there is order in this vision, and these children have been taught leadership skills for their upcoming purpose. To be a guide to others in the Wasteland, to nourish and to serve the ideals of the Plaguebringer herself. She has been raised with both spiritual knowledge and fierce battle skills. An icon of her flight. Vycis is impulsive and hard to pin down. Born and raised during an time of change, the ridgeback grew up with violent shifts in power all around her, yet living among a stability she cannot explain. She comes from a single egg nest, with no siblings to grow up with, only the matriarch's children who came and went, and no time to bond or make friendships anywhere. A lonely soul at heart, driven by a determination to adapt and overcome any situation, with little to no regard for others around her. If she is discontent with her life she changes it, warps it to her view, dragging others into her vision. She is manipulative without realizing it, and often oblivious to the feelings of others. She truly believes that what she does will be for the betterment of everyone. Magic is her strong suit, second only to her incredible charisma and persuasion. She embodies her element strongly, adapting to situations with an inborn ease. What she cannot stomach she changes. What she cannot understand she will cast aside. Stubborn and blind to the needs of others, those who oppose her are either persuaded or left behind. In her mind she must lead and force others to follow, even if it means losing those she forced to change in the first place. In the end, Vycis is strong but indecisive, and has no end goal in mind. (Written by Archaic) She left her birth clan to find a new home, wanting to find a new clan to live in. She was fickle in her choice, often leaving suddenly after living a few days in a clan. Clan after clan she went to, until she decided to go to the Hoarde of the Pestilence, intending to stay for a few days. She was unimpressed by the high priestess in the clan, deeming her unworthy of her role. And so she decided to aim to replace the high priestess and become it herself. She decided to stay in the clan to eventually fulfill her goal. She was assigned to be an acolyte of Plaguebringer, which she is unhappy with. - - - The previous high priestess was dead. Vycis takes her place as the new high priestess of Plaguebringer. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
