Ables is a trained assassin who has taken a leave from his work to stay with his mate Akari. He grew up being trained in the ways of the blade, being forbidden from having feelings, but on a mission, he saw Akari and thought she was such a beautiful dragon. He stopped to talk to her and when he remembered himself he left quickly but couldn't get her out of his head so he soon returned and they continued to have nightly rendezvous until he eventually left his family behind and ran away to her. On their journey, they heard of a tiny, quiet clan in the Windswept Plateau and travelled that way hoping to find the clan and be allowed to stay.
When the two lovebirds arrived in the clan, they were immediately welcomed with open arms, both felt immensely relieved and have stayed here peacefully ever since.
Ables still fears that one day the ghosts of his past may one day catch up to him, and destroy what little happiness he has gained in life, anf he is scared that something may happen to Akari.
