Cath

Cath is a fervent reader, and has some of the most elegant handwriting in the clan, but is banned from scribe duty due to the alterings she makes when transcibing a book (she's only marked up one original copy so far, thank heavens). She's a brilliant writer, but instead of creating her own settings and characters, she plays with those that already exist. Some of the more traditional dragons call this sacrilege, but she defends her actions on the grounds that they are her own words. Most of the clan backs her up on this, but agrees that it is inappropriate to include such things in the official copies, and that to publish them separately would be plagiarism. Instead, Cath keeps her writings to herself (though she pins them up on the wall where other members of the clan can read them, which they sometimes do), and serves the clan in other ways, generally cleaning the corners where magic doesn't reach.

She has a stack of books picked out to read, and has even found a few with her name in them, but she is continually jumping between books (sometimes literally), as she sometimes gets too excited to continue (she's very enthusiastic).
