Copper is the clan's alchemist and inventor. She's not very talented, but the important thing is she keeps trying. Her motto is "Can't talk now, experimenting!"

Though a Plague dragon originally, she thinks she's a Lightning dragon and able to conduct electricity because of her elemental name.

She's taken on Ferngully as an apprentice. Though it was more Ferngully trying to be friends and being to nice to resist when Copper hands her things willy-nilly. But it is a satisfying friendship for both, even if Copper hardly remembers what day it is half the time, much less than Ferngully is not her apprentice, but actually her friend. Oh well.
