Yami is the exact opposite of Amaterasu. He is boisterous, loud, childish, and rough. He likes to pull rather extensive pranks which can also cause people trouble. Despite his childish behavior, he is quite cunning, enough to plot the pranks he pulls each day. He is rather sturdy and shrugs off insults by laughing. He could listen to a dragon talk or explain something menial for hours and repeat exactly what he heard back to them flawlessly.

As a dragon, Yami has the ability to turn into a dark sphere. This sphere places him in the center and is capable of performing rather vicious atrocities. The sphere also has four different forms, each which vary in power. Since these spheres are more trouble than they are worth, Yami refuses to use their power unless it is absolutely necessary.

The Talkative Hookbeak on his shoulder was a gift from Amaterasu not long after the two of them became soulbound. Yami is rather annoyed by the bird, and named him Yomi. He is currently bonded to a Silver Springbok because of its mysterious powers which match his own power, and his resemblance to a very powerful god of the before times. Being soulbound to Amaterasu is very strange for Yami and he often bickers with her. However these fights are what he enjoys most about their relationship, so he would never give them away for anything.
