Cleopatra

This is my greeter for Trick or Treat 2017.




Night has fallen and the Swamp is dark, but as you make your way through, it appears someone has lit a path using glowshrooms and other bioluminescent fungus and algae. The purple, green, and orange lights pulse slightly, making shadows stretch and dance. Eventually you come to a clearing where the light is brighter, candle lanterns floating on an aetheric breeze, and the shadows seem to fade back to the trees.

A circular tent is centered in the clearing, surrounded by wooden bins for sorting what looks like random junk; certainly one is full of compostable items, though others are filled with the most bizarre set of things. Rocks, wooden logs, jewelry - though nothing particularly valuable, worn and battered clothing, stuffed animals that had certainly seen better days.

Your scratch at the tent flap is met by the tiniest of Fae. Her purple eyes are darkly lined with kohl, but they twinkle with excitement.
