Veronesa comes from another dimension made of chaos and fear; but she's curious about this 'Sornieth', a place of both darkness and light. Time for a vacation! The sunlight scorches her scales a bit, though, so she is often seen with a parasol or a particularly wide-brimmed hat when in public.

What Vero has learned has impressed her greatly. So much evil done in the name of good! The fearmongering, the twisted morality, the willful ignorance. How glorious! No matter how hard she works, she knows she will never come close to a paradox this beautiful.

Her advisers worry she'll fall in love with Sornieth, but it's too late. Whatever evils her realm may hide are nothing compared to the twisted things concealed by the light.
