Like her mate, Ranmir, MysteriousGypsy had a parent who was a Nature dragon who encouraged her to consider the Viridian Labyrinth as she set out to find a new home. When she visited this clan, the clan matriarch was struck by her intelligence and ability to analyze and win even the most challenging games. She thought about Ranmir, who was working tirelessly to modernize the clan's technology, and wondered if Mysterious might be able to help him solve some of the problems he faced. At first, this did not go well. Mysterious had a hard time explaining to any dragon, even Ranmir, how her solutions worked. Finally, in desperation, she turned to the clan matriarch and begged to be turned into a Tundra. She reasoned Tundras are known to be the least bright of all dragons, and perhaps being a Tundra would help her better understand how to explain her ideas to others. The clan matriarch expressed concern that Mysterious might lose her ability to problem solve, but Mysterious would not be dissuaded. In fact, what she lost most was her impatience with Ranmir and other dragons, which in turn gave her the ability at last to teach other dragons what she knew. Today, she and Ranmir have built a robust, modern technological infrastructure for the clan, and happily tinker with it to make it even better!
