Touched by death when he was just a pup after nearly drowning, Delta now walks the line between life and death as a soldier to the Shadowbringer. Forever doomed to drift between the two realms, the keeper of the border and ensuring that those who have crossed over do not come back, and those who are in the realm of the living do not dabble in that of the dead and release something they should not.

For those who do dabble in the occult and bring something back, and for those who come back when they should have moved on, they will be faced with Delta's, and those like him, rage and need to set things right.

Never truly mated to a single female, Delta spent a long time wandering the world, never staying in one place too long before moving on, and it was through meeting Daenery's that brought the shdow walker to Onslaught's clan. Having a habit of collecting the lost and unwanted, Onslaught welcomed Delta into their clan.

Having a stationary home in his mother land made Delta's life far more bearable, and having a loving, friendly clan made home coming all the more sweeter.

Although Delta is not mated to any single female, he has sired two clutches of hatchlings with a Snapper from his clan. Although the pair do not truly love each other, there is a special sort of affection they share for each other; both knowing that Delta may not return home after such a mission, and Delta knows that Aurora may find herself a proper mate.

Delta's third clutch was an accident that occurred when he and a young Coatl were both caught in a heat that resulted in a clutch of three eggs. One of the young were lost, the hatchling unable to support the power that Delta passed onto it.

All three of Delta's remaining hatchlings all posses the power to see and communicate with the dead, much to Delta's horror. He had wished and prayed to the Flamecaller that his little ones would not be afflicted by his curse, but is relieved that none in his clan have cast them out.

He loves his hatchlings dearly, even though they are all now grown and some with hatchlings of their own, and they are his reason to return from the shadowy place time and time again.
