Nassau scouts the terrain for whoever needs it: thieves out on a difficult assignment, the border patrol before raiding a beastclan camp, the merchants wanting the safest route. Anyone, anything. He easily adapts to what they want--slithering and silent like a snake in the night or a visible, roaring warning up high, and returns with such accurate memory of the places that it's a shame he's not a cartographer. Landscapes alone hold little interest to him, however; it is only when they show signs of life he'll pay attention to them. Besides, they pose no challenge. He can fly anywhere, drifting mindlessly from forest to sea and back again, and not have to worry about anything. It gets exciting and tense when he has to watch his moves and plan his path with extreme care; those moments are what he lives for. His mate Havana shares the same profession, and it is absolutely delightful when they are both tasked with scouting for the same group. She is a skilled mage and a beauty to behold with the way she creates distractions in the form of breezes, drafts and sometimes gales. And to think that she chose him, of all dragons.
