Biography
Xunsu
Knight/Protector
From a young age, Xunsu had been raised with and around Guardians. He felt more at home with their tales of devotion and loss than he did with his own parents and gaggle of siblings. With so many hatchlings that all generally looked the same, Xunsu didn't think he was missed too much when he sneaked out to watch the warriors train and talk. It was in those days of watching the older dragons spar and share stories and meals that Xunsu really started to figure out what he wanted in life. He wanted the adventure that came with going on a big quest to find oneself. He desired to defeat monsters and see lands that had only been described to him by grizzled veterans with the look of wonder still imbued in their eyes by the sights of their journeys.
Upon seeing his enthusiasm, the brave knights and warriors of his clan agreed to train him. While incredibly difficult and demanding both physically and mentally, Xunsu devoted himself to learning to fight with his claws and even wield small amounts of light magic. He could have served his birth clan impressively with his newly developing abilities, as once Xunsu passes the initial hurdle in something he will continue to succeed and improve with a boundless, childlike energy and vigor. But those stories from his hatchling days continued to fuel his dreams even still, and eventually Xunsu left that beautiful little Light clan to find a purpose of his own. Something to protect. Someone worthy or needing of his skills.
He found that in the Moonlit Refuge, a colony of dragons living in a city alongside a mountain, and knew that this was his place when he encountered Dominicus.
