Idunn came from a loving family around Loki and Sigyn. Growing up with four other brothers and sisters, she was the more solitary one out of the bunch. When she felt that she could steady herself with her own two, well, six wings, she took off for what she thought could only be a terra-bound star. She found a home in the Starwood Strand with the slightly disorganized Rozenshatter Dreamers.
After pointing out the mistakes made by a few of the clan's builders time and time again, she was put in charge of designing and overseeing the construction of their ever-expanding home. When she's not busy drawing blueprints or cleaning up after disasters, she's normally found reading fiction, exploring with Kantor, or researching and experimenting with arcane energy.

When Sigyn showed Loki a nest of five eggs, the Spiral thought he might have fainted on the spot. He did not like children; however, he knew this was something that would not be stopped. He wasn't expecting such a large first nest though. So, when the dragon-lings hatched, he seemed to have kept his eye on the smallest one. While the others were happy to crawl and curl around him, she kept to herself mostly. Occasionally, her siblings could convince to come annoy their father, but she preferred to be by herself.
Sigyn would occasionally speak softly with her daughter as she nuzzled and cleaned her. Sigyn was a really good mother to little Idunn. It was when Loki got away from the other children (thanks to his loving mate) that he got a chance to curl around Idunn and get to know her. It surprised him when she showed a bit of his personality coming through as she talked to him. He even laughed at some of the pranks she had pulled on her siblings. He had no idea she had done them. Idunn enjoyed her moments with her father, and it came to notice she was his favorite when she was allowed to sleep on his head.
There was nothing truly special about Idunn. She was the smallest of the clutch. Though, the Spiral was smart. She was incredibly smart. Her pranks proved such a fact. She was cunning too. Not very strong. She was an excellent flyer but not like some of her other siblings. She had her smarts and cunningness going for her. It was when she was strong enough to leave that she decided to leave.
Loki was a bit upset, but he knew his daughter. She was like him. She knew there was more out there. So, he let her go.
He only wishes she'd keep in contact with him from time to time.
