Alessonde

A researcher, a daydreamer, and an unrepentant cocky hotshot who cannot help but show off what he knows. The focus of his research revolves around two disciplines which seem, at a glance, wildly dissonant, and perhaps they are: medicinal healing, and combat stratagem.

He excels in both, and numbers besides. Alessonde is one who means well, and goes out of his way to help others, but often may do so for a selfish undercurrent. Although he does not expect others to pay him back, he knows the kind of compelling friendships and allegiances which may be built on strength of personality alone. Giving selflessly inspires others to assist him in turn, often without his needing to ask, and this is a circumstance he is wholly willing to take advantage of at rare and opportune moments.

He does not miss his opportune moments.

His has been a slow ascension to power within the clan, but one which cannot be questioned. Everyone seems to know him, or of him, or of his reputation, for ill or for boon. Inch by inch, he has made himself and those who assist him - primarily his research partner Dulcet - absolutely invaluable. He threatens the positions of several old members of the clan, without ever lifting a claw against them.
