Barren leveled by the fire flight with much love ♥ Is rare for a lone egg to survive in the Ashfall Waste, specially for a Nature one. From the harpies seeing them as a collectible prize, rolling trough an enviroment with lava rivers, uneaven terrain and smoke, even the most tiny floting ember might causes harm. And there are a lot of those in there. However Barren made it against the imposible and hatched close to the Volcanic Vents. His bright green eyes a legacy of his victory in the land forged by the Flamecaller, his hide showing the colors of his birthplace. He grew up clan-less, living from lair to lair until he reached the age he need to start the search, starting looking for a purpose... and so, he went in a Pyro Pilgrimage

(( Story since Joining Beastofgaia's lair ))

It has been quite a few days since Barren, the one year old male Guardian decided to leave Protowilson’s Lair for other horizons. Discovering the warm weather and dry landscapes from the Ashfall Waste, he had to avoid the hotter moments of the day, favoring scouting by night. It is what saved him as he was approaching the strange Caves where Drosera was kept prisoned.

“Do not enter THERE!” hissed a male tone voice. Barren got surprised when a clearly nomadic styled male Mirror barged into his sight and pounced him away, just in time to not being noticed by the guards lurking by the depths.

“Hey! That’s hurt… why the agressi…” started the guardian but was cut off by the other male “Shhhh… this cave is a trap… they lure foreigner and then keep them prisoner… a crazy Fire Magus, Kaiju, is using the prisoners for breeding a lot of youngling he can then sacrifice to his fire deity… If you don’t wanna be tossed into lava, follow me”.

That is how Barren met the troubling Steelmate, leader of the Nomads.


A few moments later…

“Wow ? So you have to train all those young ones ? But… They are like a dozen…” protested Barren.

“One shall eat… so we have to teach them how to fight and hunt by themselves… Tonight we hunt near the Harpy’s Roost”


Several hunting parties later…

“OMG! That’s a HUGE *** BIRD” yelled Barren as the massive Roc landed nearly the hunting party, sending a crazy loud impact wave around him.

“It’s a male Roc! Be careful it will attack! Protect the cubs, I will lead the assault!” roared Steelmane before jumping head on into the melee.

“I’ll provide support Sir!” answered Barren as the fight raged on.


“WOOOHOOO! We won! Amazing! Wow? What is that?” asked Barren as a little egg was found near the place of the battle.

“Here is a Roc’s Nest… Take that Egg, it will be your Familiar once it hatches” explained Steelmane. “Congratulation Boy, you are now a real Man. Be proud of your bruises coz they mean you are a warrior. We will feast tonight.”

(Aeteni's lair)

Barren stared down an angrily flapping Coatl (40435678) shivering from cold wind. Finally he asked: What exactly did I wrong? Coatl's flapping became even more frantic at this point while he was practically spitting every word at the guardian: You. Dared. To. Mess. With. The. Traning.

Barren blinked. The angry golden female Guardian yelled at him after the first roung when Barren took iniciative and entered the battle. After yelling all she had, the female threw him here in the snaw waste. Coatl flew after him -fine! Coatle got a good raise by a nice kick. The Lady knew her thing. Two of them along with some green in means experiece wildclaw were left on the battlefield by themselves.

-What are you staring at? - snapped Coatl - get your claws together! We've been surraunded by a pack of wolves and I'm too young to die!

Indeed, they were surranded by wolves, Barren bares his fanges and jump at the enemies praying to the merciful Gladekeeper to keep him if not safe then alive at least. The battle went actually well and they fought intil dawn. The same went on the nest day and the next day.
