    Aeons ago, the god Tidelord died in a great war that ended the Fourth Age. The Water Flight died too, the bottom of the Sea and the few lands in Water territory sinking beneath the waves and becoming a great deep trench housing the dead god, and as the aeons passed they faded into legend and myth. Ghouls from a long-forgotten age, yet serving their dead master... hatchlings rarely born with ocean-blue eyes... for even dead gods lie dreaming, and in their dreams they influence the world.

    Yadav was one of those dragons who listened to myth and legend, oddly for a Lightning dragon - so when an ocean-eyed hatchling with magic of the very waves was born, he set out to explore the ancient Sea, hoping to discover the mythical Tidelord and why he yet had influence over Sornieth. But he discovered that many of the myths about the Water Flight's fate were true to his cost, as the ghouls from an Age long past drowned him. He refused to die, waking as a drowned ghoul himself, and he now hears an eldritch, aeons-forgotten voice commanding him... that of the Dead God.
