______ Starfall was an unlikely choice to be one of the few to represent The Arcanist himself. His parents were one of the Shadowbinder's many children who had left for the Crystalspine Reaches to carve a better life for their growing family. Though they had joined this new clan, their loyalty to the Shadowbinder still remained. It was only though his studies as a child that he even heard of the deity that controlled his element! Being the youngest of his nest, and the most frail. He spurred physical contact with his ever expanding family to dedicate himself to the studies. He saw alot of himself in his diety and idol that made the young Pearlcatcher admired: His dedication to his studies, his tolerance of his people, his curiosity struck a cord with the young child. As he matured, he further sequestered himself away from his family to deciate himself to following his diety and idol.

______ Upon his maturation, he completely cut ties with his family to study under the resident Arcane representative to learn the ways of the Arcanist and to spread his good word across the land. It was at this time when he took the name "Starfall" to honor his deity. All the while he continued to study his idol. It was in his studies that he found a disturbing trend. The Arcanist and his connection to the Shade. The shade was there long before his dear idol had discovered it. If not he, surely another dragon would have swoon to its sights and unleashed it on the earth. Perhaps this was a trick from the other deities. Yes. They feared the power of his benevolent deity and seeked to destroy him! It all made sense to the young Pearlcatcher. When he told his master, he was sent away in shame and with the statement that Starfall knew nothing. Disheartened, he continued to study. Of course his mentor was brainwashed by the shaming of other deities. He had to bring honor to his diety and his mentor from the shaming by other elementals.

______ Regardless of his maverick thoughts, Starfall studied rapidly and vigorously. Eventually he was honored with becoming a full fledged Arcane representative, earning his emblem when he was honored. In his first assignment into the one of his clan's most loyal allies, he succeeded in offending the ally's Light representative by suggesting the Lightweaver was responsible for the shade. Starfall thought differently, he was simply spreading the truth about his beloved Arcanist to the liar and nonbeliever of the Lightweaver. After this, he was sent away to the clan of the Cloudscrape Crags. For Starfall, he saw this as his chance to spread the word of the Arcanist to the heathens of the Icewarden.

______ While named as Arcane representative and guardian of the Arcane Dragonfolk, Starfall's stay at the clan is contentious. Republic and Sicilienne as especially dislike him due to the Pearlcatcher's instance that the Shade does not attack clans and insists that their birthclan committed a mass suicide to join the Windsinger. Republic has been talked down many many times from simply stripping him of his rank and sending him off to the Icewarden as punishment. The other Flight representatives are not fond of Starfall either, with Aria especially making it apart of her daily routine to call the child an idiot to his face.
