Clementine

Clementine was born into a rather hot-blooded family from the Fire Flight. She spent much of her youth with parents and siblings much louder and forceful than she. But it seemed as though she had absorbed all the scraps of the family's tenderness and caring and embodied it. It made life rough for her in the beginning, and she didn't hesitate to look for a better life elsewhere when she finally came of age. She looked high and low for the perfect place for her.

She knew she didn't belong in the Icy cold land of the Icewarden, and she didn't find comfort in the tumultuous lands of the Stormcatcher. The realm of Shadowbinder only made her feel depressed, she could hardly hear herself think over the winds of the Windsinger, she could not bear the heat of the deserts made by the Earthshaker, She could not theorize or hypothesize the unknown like the Arcanist or Lightweaver dragons, She knew not how to swim like the Tidelord, and the Stench and Rot of the Plaugebringer only made her feel sick. Where, oh where could a pearlcatcher go to feel like she belonged? The end of her journey found her in the likes of the Gladekeeper. There, she found lands bursting with life and nature. For once in her life, she felt happy and at home.

She spent many years in the glens and valleys of the Gladekeeper, and eventually found herself to be most adept at caring for and raising young dragons. She loved the youth and vitality they had, and the joy they brought her to see them grow up. She did all of this in praise to Gladekeeper, and Gladekeeper noticed her devout ways. Clementine was blessed by the Gladekeeper, her appearance changing and morphing into something that indeed resembled her name, a clementine tree. From her wings and neck green leaves sprouted, and small branches poked their way out from her wings, some of them bearing round, ripe fruits. Clementine was overjoyed with her new appearance, and knew that she had earned the Gladekeeper's favor.

However, the Gladekeeper knew that Clementine still had not found where she needed to be. She was still as timid as a lamb, and the calm dragons of the Viridian Labyrinth didn't help break her shell. What she needed was a clan that was loud, and who would teach her not to be afraid.
The Gladekeeper found her answer in the Anteolai clan, a friend to Clementine's original clan. They were loud and loving and irresponsible, and needed Clementine's expertise with eggs. With a heavy heart, Clementine left her home for the lands of the Arcanist, where she was immediately taken aback by the rowdiness of the clan the Gladekeeper sent her to. Why here? Did the Gladekeeper not love her anymore?
That was not it at all, and Clementine slowly but surely began to realize this. Slowly but surely, she is warming up to her clan, and her efforts have made the nests significantly safer. She even found Lihir, a dragon that doesn't need words to show how much he loves her.
Still, I advise against sneaking up on her. She is the clan's sweetheart, and they don't take kindly to anyone fooling around with her.
