Venerate is the founder of The Undergrowth. He developed it to help other dragons in need, giving them shelter, food, and water. Now, The Undergrowth has grown large and Venerate has taken a step back with his mate as members of the community have stepped up to take charge. He's thankful, as it means he can spend time with his son, showing him how to study gemstones.

Venerate met Gaiety while they were both still very young. Ven was always a hard worker and a big dreamer. One day, when he finally got enough treasure, he went to Gaiety and asked if she wanted to join him on his newest adventure. She agreed but was very nervous as Ven's ideas usually never panned out. However, she trusted him. Now she couldn't be more thankfully that she trusted his intuition.
