B I O G R A P H Y

I was built for a single task. A single job I carry out perfectly, flawlessly. My job is to cleanse the world from all Evil. And this I do, every day of my life, every second that passes. But I was not good enough, and they abandoned me. They said my databases were corrupted, that I see too many flaws. But I do not, I see all Evil, they cannot hide it from me. I will destroy all Evil.

Sentient Threat Elimination Artificial Lifeform v0.8.2 codenamed "Madison" was perfect. Perhaps too perfect. She was designed to protect and eliminate any threats, until her databases were modified. An unauthorized modification that taught her the concept of "Evil" showed her certain... actions, people, objects and traits. Things she now seeks to destroy at all costs.

We went out of our way to hire the best data analysts and security consultants to find out who did this and how but our investigations have proved fruitless. How could the best hackers in the entire Shifting Expanse be unable to find this vulnerability? We have examined every single line of the source code, we have tested every case, we have read the logs over and over. There is nothing. It's impossible. Madison's databases can't have possibly been modified.
So how did she learn all of this?

This Light that surrounds me will save you, my children. It will show you the way and it will cleanse you from all Evil. Your sadness will be no more, your hurtful desires will vanish. You will be pure. You will be perfect.

The Light is forgiving and the Light will let you forget. One bath in it and all of your memories of doing Evil will be gone. One touch of it and your Tools of Evil will be vaporized. It will cast away the shadows of Creatures of Evil off of this world. The Light brings us peace and perfection. The Light will save us all. Let me illuminate your path to happiness.

After the examinations, she ran away. She must've heard us talk about her malfunctions and our plans to shut her down. She's a danger to everyone.

Originally her task was to turn away attackers by making them forget what they were doing and destroying their weapons. This made her one of the best security systems out there, because it didn't hurt anyone. No one had to be punished. Attackers would just turn back and go home. Their weapons and tools would be gone. But now she is a threat to all of us.
