______ Long ago, when Shadow was only a hatchling, things in her area were treacherous. Many dragons were fearful to let their babies out of sight, or out of reach. Shadow had no parents to protect her and her siblings, only an auntie. Next heir to alpha Shadow felt the need to start her duties early, but only got pushed down by her aunt, the omega and current ruler. As Shadow grew older she knew she had to do something to save her clan as their numbers were decreasing heavily. She offered many ideas to her aunt, but always got shot down. Her auntie had become a victim to greed, envy, hatred, and loss, and was no longer fit to be ruler. Her aunt was now one to be an enemy.

______ Enraged by the treason her aunt had produced Shadow fought for her right to take over and protect the rest of her clan, which numbered at three. When the battle was over Shadow flew to the nearby forest, reigning victorious and safely escorting all the hidden dragons and hatchlings to new homes. She now has started her own clan and hopes to get back her family, and make up for those she lost. She has learned lots and is loved by all of her followers. When troubled she visits the Elder and gets her assistance, and when a problem is at foot she consult the General stating, "No loss or harm shall come to my family." She is strong, fierce, protective, and loving to all.
