Arsenic is the lethal substance that's found in soil, plants and even our food but he isn't some deadly dragon, in this case he is a Specialist Clinic Doctor. He is an aspiring dragon learning the basics of chemistry and medicine but none can cure Arsenic poisoning. His blood stream contains low traces of arsenic that causes him respiratory problems and a rapid loss of hair. It's caused him skin cancer and respiratory issues. Everyday his muscles weaken and cramp, Arsenic often gets headaches/migraines during his research and digesting food is tough even for him. He wears a bone like mask to represent his condition and near death situation he is in. His job specialises in curing dragons of poisons, deadly substances, venom or even organ issues. Younger dragons often look up to him because of his condition and determination to live. Arsenic deals with more hands on operations. This means physical treatment: Fractured bones, bruised skin, blisters, splinters, deep cuts, wounds and even sometimes organ transplants. He owns all the necessary equipment and knowledge of the dragon body. He enjoys helping weaker young and old dragons to continue living become even stronger than before. Dragons he helped often thrived many years after and many found jobs. Although Arsenic deals with more hands on operations, he tries to avoid surgery as much as possible. For any single mistake can cost the life of a dragon whilst being unconscious in surgery. Thankfully, situations that require such a strenuous task are scarce. Arsenic has a lot of patience when helping injured dragons. His most frequent guests are the dragons that require life support, unable to survive without medication. Without Arsenic, they wouldn't be here. Arsenic occasionally also has patients who've been a little too reckless in the coliseum, outside lair parameters or even foraging. He often treats insect stings, spider bites, poison and animal bites. He always keep a first aid kit on himself just incase someone gets injured during his break hours. It has happened in the past before plenty of times. His first aid kit includes: bandages, wraps, disinfectant, herbs, numbing medicine and stitching equipment. His relationship with his brother, Cyanide isn't as you would expect. Cyanide is reckless, ignorant and rash. Arsenic can talk with him just as fine but other dragons can't manage a conversation with him. His brother is also a select few of the clan's dragons who self harm. He doesn't seem to acknowledge that his tests are actually harming him. Arsenic often talks to Cyanide during his break hours, letting him know about the patients he's treated. Arsenic is the only dragon Cyanide is comfortable listening to. After all, these two siblings grew up together. Arsenic can be playful and immature around his older brother, whilst Cyanide is more mature and serious. Arsenic and his brother Cyanide are both completely opposites and similar. They share close memories of the clan, the clan they were born in and still live in. To this day, Arsenic has made many friends and business parters such as Sunrise who tends to do more magic based operations. He holds a close relationship with all of his work buddies: Sunrise, Damien and Buttercups who each have their own specific purpose in the lair. Sunrise is a healing mage, Damien is the clan therapist and Buttercups is a caretaker, responsible for looking after dragons and giving them medication after Arsenic provides them with the necessary cure. He really enjoys his job and is more than happy to tell you about the strangest encounters with injured dragons. One time a dragon managed to get its head stuck in a barrel. |
