Biography
Despite being named after an artist, Artemisia would rather spend her free time reading or tending the occasional plants that popped up in Sorexian territory. The Snapper is relatively reserved and is inseparable from Giotto, her "brother", and her parents. She also has fears that are currently left unexplained, which many believe is due to an incident (or incidents, according to some) that occurred while she was separated from her parents in the Windswept Plateau.
Full Name: Artemisia
Rank: Scholar
Personality: Artemisia is quiet and often spends her time around Giotto or her parents. She is decently friendly towards them and is protective of them to some degree, but she is a nervous wreck around anyone else and tries to leave any awkward situation if possible. The Snapper is insecure about her ability as a scholar but tries to hide it through her passions with reading and plants. Artemisia is not exactly sensitive and can be oblivious at times; she also occasionally struggles with using the right words, which have resulted in quite a few misunderstandings.
Orientation: Grey-Homosexual/Biromantic
Relationship Status: Single.
Kin: Yossarian (father), Brisha (mother), Giotto (older "brother")
Familiar: Misty the Gusting Goblin. Artemisia stumbled into Misty while out on the Windswept Plateau and befriended her with some plants she had on hand. Misty dislikes the Scarred Wasteland but feels that it is her duty to act as a friend figure to the Snapper; she dispels her dislike and follows the Snapper around as a result, but she generally tends to levitate or perch herself onto the Snapper's back so that she does not touch the "contaminated" ground. Misty is friendly with Yossarian and Brisha, and quite wary towards Giotto.
Reputation: Artemisia generally stays close to her family and Giotto, but she occasionally interacts with her other Clanmates, who tend to call her pet names such as "adorable" or "dear". The Snapper does not mind this much, although she prefers being called her real name. She has a very tight sibling bond with Giotto, who had found her in the Windswept Plateau and taken her in as a "sister." Artemisia has a decent relationship with her parents, but she generally gets along better with Brisha than Yossarian, whom she finds too abrasive and paranoid for her.
Likes: pastel colors, her family, reading, gentle breezes, plants // Dislikes: meat, the Beastclans (especially Serthis and Centaurs), Fire dragons, bugs, sudden or loud noises
Backstory: Artemisia was born in the Viridian Labyrinth to an Imperial soldier named Yossarian and a Snapper named Brisha. The family, however, had the tendency to travel around, and thus Artemisia was used to the different realms of Sornieth from a young age. While in the Windswept Plateau, she got separated from her parents and stumbled into a Wildclaw named Giotto, who was travelling around as well and desperate for companionship. Although Giotto was initially put off by Artemisia's apparent insensitivity, the two eventually established a tight sibling bond. The two continued travelling around for a bit before settling into the Scarred Wasteland, a domain that appealed to neither of them (but they decided to make their home there anyway). She and Giotto eventually joined the Sorexians, with Artemisia becoming a scholar and Giotto becoming a hunter. A few months after joining the Sorexians, Artemisia reunited with her parents, who had set off to find the Snapper ever since she was separated, and the two have lived a happy life ever since.
