"I can't help that I'm so fancy."

It takes monochrome outfits aplenty
And sweaters (at least ten or twenty) To dress one so dapper. Break out your best wrapper! He's the sartorial cognoscenti. -by MagpieScholar (240053) |

Streak's name: Sail
He is fancy, and he really can't help it. If Avis Calvariam had a "fanciest dragon" award, there's no doubt in Dillasko's mind that he would get it. Sadly, there is no fanciest dragon award and no one shares his interest in implementing it. He strutted into their midst as a sparkling young hatchling, his vivid Light eyes perfectly marching his dazzling scales that seem to capture sunlight, only to release it with more intensity than it had to begin with. He was none too pleased when he learned those crazy fancy eyes of his would have to hide behind glasses, but maybe it was worth it to see the world without blurred edges. As he came to terms with his poor vision and new eyewear, he realized he could use it to his advantage. Now he has a whole matching outfit, and is fancier than ever. Dang. He sure is one hip dragon. He keeps himself arguably useful by serving as the self-proclaimed fasionista. Most of the dragons ignore his advice, but they’re all secretly grateful someone will wear the sweaters Azurite has so lovingly crafted. When Mary stowed aboard, Dilasko was utterly horrified by her sense (or rather, lack thereof) of colors, but he hasn’t said anything for fear of hurting the strange Skydancer’s feelings. Eyestrain, however, is a whole other issue and is constantly under Dilasko’s criticism. Someday he might realize the Pearlcatcher does pretty much everything out of pure spite and the frequent reprimand serves as little more than encouragement.
Plague Days:
It's remarkably hard to avoid getting mysterious stains on everything while living in the Wasteland. Very annoying. But what was excruciatingly worse was the rife illness. Dilasko spent most of his time taking care of Azurite, a habit he still hasn't broken.
The Cloudsong:
He may not agree with her color choices, but during their flight to The Cloudsong and the months that followed, Dilasko has eagerly gotten to know the stowaway, Mary. He finds her oddly charming and tries to show enough confidence in her to make up for the lack she has in herself. Though disinterested in nesting, the two are mates in every other sense of the word. The two of them are both very fond of their "Amma Rite," as they call Azurite, and take turns dutifully listening to the elder's endless stories. |
