P E R S O N A L I T Y
Amethyst is a soft spoken dragon who chews her words thoroughly before speaking. In the early years of her life, the weight of her mother's curse immobilized her, greatly decreasing her ability to care for her hatchling. Forced to care for her self, Amethyst grew independent out of need. Selfless, she cared for her mother before herself, even in times where food was scarce. When her mother at last fell beneath the weight Earthshaker's Curse, her own mortality added to the growing burdens upon her shoulders. When Spider found her, she had just about given up. She lay there, waiting to become just another crystal in the snow. Spider changed everything for Amethyst, whether she meant to or not. They became an unlikely team, united by the Earthshaker's hatred. An agreement was made; in exchange for Whisper's glistening scales, Spider would lead her to Dragonhome. And on this journey, a deep trust was forged, resulting in a friendship forever lasting.

B I O G R A P H Y
On the swirling peaks of the Cloudscrape Crags, there lies a legend. A legend of crystals, towering and ragged, are so very different from the empty whiteness that surrounds them. To the ignorant, these crystals are one of the world's greatest treasures. Those who peer deeply remember the story of the Gem-bound; the souls within the rock that can be found. The essence of those who once were dragons now are no more than shining, beautiful stones. Amethyst was born of these legends. She, too, is Gem-bound, just as her mother and father were before her; she will one day stop moving, stop breathing just as all of those before her have. She will succumb to the Earthshaker's Curse. This is where a small Fae named Spider found her, huddled beneath her mother's frozen forelegs, her hope for life already stoned-over. With Spider's help, Amethyst now lifts her crystal-clad feet and leaves the Southern Ice Field in hopes to reach Dragonhome, seat of the Earth God who cursed her family long ago.
