★ His lineage includes the Gladekeeper, a handful of generations back, on his father's side. As of right now, he isn't aware of it yet, due to his parents not telling him for an unknown reason. He'll eventually find out, through a burst of power brought on by his negative emotions in a bad situation, which will lead him to asking his parents and looking around to find out where that had even come from. ★ Isn't very good with his magic, at least not at the moment, since he cannot gain a grip on it for seemingly no reason. ★ Is resistant to the Shade due to both his element and his bloodlines. ★ It's something he doesn't like admitting but.. he's not exactly fond of the dark, which is why the Lanterns are almost always nearby. ★ Does not swear very often, for he finds it uncouth. ★ He only has one obvious horn, for the smaller one nearly got broken off completely in an accident. There's only a little bit of a stump left, hard to see and not very obvious. He's been mistaken as female a few times due to it, but he tends to be quick to correct it. Not that he minds being called female, he doesn't care about -that-, it's more due to the fact it points out that he has a broken horn, a blemish. He hates having a blemish, and hates having the broken horn pointed out for that fact alone. ★ In fact, he often wears a fake horn or jewelry in the shape of a horn when he goes to anything formal or very important, just so the blemish isn't as obvious, usually made of jade. It's always light and enchanted as to not bug his face. He usually is the one to put it on himself, for good reasons, though occasionally he'll have someone help him to make sure it's on correctly. ★ He actually has a second blemish, though he's not so hateful of it because it isn't visible very often. This is a scar on his right side, right under the armpit. This one happened because someone managed to slip past his two main guards and managed to hit him once before they got disposed of by Nyban. It was a painful injury due to the placement, and he is slightly self-conscious of it, in the way of he keeps making sure it's covered correctly. It's not usually visible. ★ Also, his face is sensitive around his horns, especially around the broken stub. He -hates- his face being touched due to this. Location doesn't matter; he hates his entire face being touched. ★ Doesn't like his tail pulled or touched, really, since it's also sensitive, though not quite as sensitive as his face. ★ Really, really likes cheese. As in to the point where he'll pay a lot if he can afford it and it's really good cheese. He doesn't like sharing either. His favourite is probably sharp cheddar; it's amazing to him, but he loves all forms of cheese, having never found a kind he didn't like. And yes, this means that he does like blue cheese, despite what it really is. He doesn't care, it's cheese and he likes it. ★ The only kind of alcohol he likes is wine. The rest is gross to him. Fruity wines are his favourite. ★ He does not have a very good alcohol tolerance, for the record. Therefore, he doesn't indulge in drinks much. ★ His favourite fruits are avocados, blueberries, peaches, and kumquat. He does not like grapes by themselves. ★ On the other claw, he -loathes- lima beans. He refuses to eat them even if they're mixed in with other things. That's one way to get him to avoid a meal, or be very, very unimpressed if they're snuck in to something he's eating/going to eat and he doesn't notice at first. ★ Also loves swimming, loves water, and is quite the good swimmer due to it, even though his build, being scrawny and skinny, doesn't reflect this. Also can hold his breath for a long time. ★ Horrible at climbing though, probably at least partially due to his lack of physical strength. ★ Does have a weak diaphragm, and therefore, he has a tendency to get the hiccups fairly frequently/easily. He finds it annoying but hey, this has made it so he knows quite a few cures. He's still healthy and all, however, it's just naturally weak. He's surprised whenever he goes a week or more without getting them once. ★ Paces -a lot- when aggravated, annoyed, frustrated, or feeling impatient. Not so much when he's bored though; he fidgets instead when he's bored. ★ Is a bit more clumsy than he'd like to admit. ★ Always keeps his claws trim and clean. He doesn't like his claws long for multiple reasons. ★ Even though he can eat insects, being a Pearlcatcher, he rarely does. He's very, very picky with the insects he eats, and tends not to eat them in public either way. ★ Is invested in appearance enough that he often gets the urge to "tweak" or "adjust" how others look when he feels like they're not looking good... such as wanting to brush their hair or mess with their unruly clothing. He never has actually done it, but his claws twitch almost every time he encounters someone like that. ★ This extends enough that he also avoids physical confrontation due to it, both because he doesn't want to get himself or the other individual dirty (he's also.. a bit of a coward). He has gotten angry enough to slap someone, but that's the furthest he's gotten. ★ Yes, despite acting like he doesn't, he is slowly getting fond of his guards. He can't really imagine how his life would be if he had never met them. He has not admitted this out loud as of yet. ★ He doesn't show it, but the fact his two clutch siblings, Sydonia and Newt are a lot bigger than him really does bug him. A lot. He feels so small compared to them. Otherwise, his small size doesn't really bother him all that much. ★ Is rarely seen wearing clothing that isn't a dress, or at least dress-like. He highly prefers them over things like pants/shorts, though he will wear pants/shorts once in a while, especially depending on where he's traveling if he is. ★ Has a little bit of a crush on the Blacksmith's apprentice, Tyrith. He just happens to find him quite attractive, nothing more, not interested in pursuing any sort of relationship with him (which should be obvious anyways, considering...).
