xxxx Umphathi got ready in a hurry, tripping over ribbons and dropping his brush into the plate of freshly baked cookies. Today's the day! He mused enthusiastically. I am moving to my new lair. They're in Light. I hope everyone is friendly. Running the brush through his ample mane one more time he extricated himself from the colourful ribbons at his feet and retrieved the plate of cookies, gently placing it in his bag. Before long he had arrived at the Enclave, happily greeted by many members of the lair and (to his utter relief) welcomed warmly. Both Wolfsong and Wintersea gave him a big hug and then passed him onto Northwind, who led him through the labyrinthine, enormous lair to his own room. As they opened the door Umphathi's eyes widened in surprise. His room was delicately draped in newly fallen snow. A small Spruce tree, decorated with brightly coloured ornaments and lights twinkled from the far end of the room. A few packages were nestled beneath it, awaiting his attention. xxxx

Umphathi took home a silver medal for his slalom in the Sornieth Winter Games 2019.
