B I O G R A P H Y

“Hmmm? About me? Well, The Unity has always been a part of my life. My parents were great historians; they taught me everything there is to know about the beginning and how dragonkind came to be. Just like Mother and Father, history has become my passion. My great grandfather created The Unity in hopes of honoring the Earthshaker’s wish of bringing all of the dragons back to where we began: Dragonhome. Yes yes, that idea is a tad overambitious—we can’t exactly bring the entire population here, but the old man sure knew how to dream big!

Our goal became simpler as the generations went by. My grandfather strived to spread the Earthshaker’s word, knocking on everyone’s door and asking if they have a moment to talk about our Rocky Father. My father strived to educate others, ensuring that we never forget how the gods worked together to protect this world, how they were united within the ancient Pillar. Father wanted all dragons to know that we are most powerful together. Me? My goal is to carry on Father’s work. Trust me, there’s too many brats around here that don’t respect the sacrifices our creators made for us!

But then I met Wither. She was a rather…feral gal when I first met her. But she’s so curious, more curious than any hatchling I’ve ever met. She enjoyed hearing me talk about different dragon breeds and cultures, but she wanted more than that. She wanted to see it all for herself, and who was I to deny my dear mate? The Unity is no longer about only teaching about dragonkind, it is about experiencing dragonkind. My mate and I invite dragons of all kinds to enrich their lives as we aim to learn and appreciate what every Flight has to offer. Yes, this is how I will bring us all together! May all of dragonkind one day reunite!

Crag is a friendly old soul, albeit a little rough around the edges. He takes great pride in his family’s knowledge, protecting every book and artifact in his lair. Even though he works to bring about dragons of all kinds, he still has some old-fashioned views that could use some polishing. He has a habit of judging others by their breed or flight of origin. Oh, Earthshaker forbid you’re from the Lightning flight; you won’t hear the end of his backhanded compliments. Younger dragons may be in for a rough time as well. Wither will beg you to be more patient with him. “He learning, just like rest of us!” she would say.

As the head of The Unity, Crag is always there to welcome new members and approve of new ideas and plans for the club. He also manages the relationship with the Longneck clan that dwells close by. The Unity keeps the Longnecks at ease mostly by trading, offering food and materials from their trips. They may have a language barrier, but swapping goods is a universal kindness.
