____It was a misty night when two Wildclaws decided to sneak into the black Guardian's lair. It was a brave attempt, but to their disappointment, the lair has so little to steal from, except from the rather big pile of cooked meat behind the huge figure.

____With the smell of the lava-cooked meat and his rumble tummy, he turned to Turanga, signaling her to answer to his plan.

____The female Wildclaw complied. The two move swiftly, but quietly, pass the Guardian and landed their claws on a lukewarm piece of cooked meat. That is when the Guardian sensed them, and so, the big black figure woke. He turned his head to face Oscar.

____Before anyone could say a word, Turanga rushed towards the awakened Guardian. The Guardian saw that as an attack. He then swept his right claw, flinging Turanga against the cave wall...

____She passed out on the spot.

____Shocked and feared, Oscar was petrified. He was stuck at that spot, as the Guardian moved his head slowly towards him.

____"What are you two doing here?" The deep, old-sounding voice of the Guardian echoed throughout the cave...

____Oscar couldn't utter a single word.

____"What are you doing here?" The guardian repeated. His voice is slightly louder this time. He then noticed that the Wildlcaw was shaking with fear, so he said to him, "Breathe in deeply, and out."

____Having done what he was told to do, he become less nervous. He spoke to the Guardian slowly, "We... we are really sorry. We are just indigent thieves looking for gold and coins. We entered your lair, hoping to find something worthy enough to steal. And as you could have guessed, we found nothing."

____"That didn't explain why you were stealing my food."

____"Uh... That was not what we planned to do. We could just hunt in the wild for food. But I'm just... hungry, and being thieves, it is not in our best interest to leave empty-handed.

____"What do you need the treasure for?"

____"We've been stealing stuff for a while now. The loot went to a Ridgeback who claimed to know great battle techniques, but he will only teach us once we pay him enough coins."

____"Well, I'm a veteran. I could teach you some battle techniques. For the cost of serving me as long as you are my student."

____Oscar thought. He respected the Guardian for his decisions so far, and moreover, not taking his life. The Wildclaw ended up bending his head down saying, "Yes, master."

____The guardian turned to Turanga, who was lying unconscious on the floor. He heard a worrying voice from Oscar asking, "Will she be alright?"

____"Only time will tell. I'll take care of her. You go fetch some herbs."
