Hampton

Hampton was raised by a small clan of Fae bandits, actors who pleaded starvation and struggle to enter clans that they would attack and raid in the night. These raids were also how they would add to their numbers, stealing eggs and younger hatchlings that older clan members would raise. Hampton struggled to cope with this life and pressure from his parents, the leaders of the clan, and eventually found himself confronting them in battle while he tried to flee. He ended up injured and tossed into the ocean, where he washed up at the grave of a still-living Guardian. Sensing the opportunity in front of him, he started collecting material to build a clan in the cove, where he would never have to confront his old life.

Pragmatic and charming, Hampton serves largely as a diplomat. He's learned from a young age to mimic the expressions and emotions of other dragons, which leads them to see him as a nicer and more emotional Fae than most, though his expressions with other Fae are somewhat crippled. He struggles more with parsing his real emotions than presenting what he thinks others would like him to feel. He tends to negotiate with neighboring clans and talk things out with new arrivals.

Hampton and Thornrose seem to be friends of some sort- Hampton is overly attached to her and her cove, and has a personal investment in keeping her alive. He has trouble forming more solid relationships with other dragons. Hampton is liked by everyone and close to no one.
