Marun puts on concerts and shows for the clan during times of peace and war.

Before he joined the clan, he was commonly found on the side of the road near Sornieth's central trading hub. Back then, he was fairly young, and thought it would be a good idea to follow a marching army which was passing through. All the while he strummed his lute and sang in a jovial manner, and all the while Hai, who happened to be leading the army, grew more and more irritated by his presence. After sending warriors to tell him off, she finally confronted the source of the music herself.

Hai thought she did a good job of snarling in his face and threatening to literally roast him when he stopped his singing and stared at her with his wild eyes. Once done with her display of hostility, Marun breathed in, strummed a rather ominous sounding chord, and belted out a mighty song of violent bloody victory.

Hai's first reaction was to be defiant, but, throwing away her pride, she announced that he was a warrior of music. She was indeed impressed with his powerful song. Together, they struck a deal that Marun could join them in the war march, but only if he was up in front with Hai.

In times of peace, Marun entertains dragons in the main tower of bone with various songs and ballads. Sometimes he accompanies Jarek on visits to the Auction House or Marketplace.
