Harle is proof that just because you are aware of more things then the average person, it doesn't mean mistakes won't be made and that tragedy can always be avoided.

While able to divine things about people and events that she was absent for or that are yet to be, she still lost her mother and two siblings in an instant, emotionally crippling her father from there onward.

Her inner sight also didn't keep her from having a dalliance with a self-important mage that she expected would never love anything more than himself, leaving her pride wounded and heart shredded.

But in spite of all these pains, she endured. Her vision never let her lose the knowledge that nothing is permanent, to learn lessons and move forward, find a purpose that will make the scars fade.

Right now that purpose is to be a good mother, preparing her children for the world as well as trying to determine if they carry the same second sight she possesses.

As for her clan alliance, she broke the rules and declared herself independent for her brief romance with Daz. Knowing that her hatchlings won't be recognized by the elders and more than likely punished or shunned she has chosen to hold that position. Only staying near the main population to keep an eye on her father.
