Inoday

Bio forthcoming. Inoday is a coatl who came to the Natorei Cell seeking treatment for illness along with Nakti. With Davide's help he was able to stop the progression of his disease, but his plumage will not recover. He is being blackmailed by Capella, who reanimated Nakti after she died; Inoday is forced both to stay quiet about Nakti and to feed Capella information from outside her confinement.

Inoday was originally vibrant red, a prime example of Coatl even Flamecaller herself could be proud of. So naturally, when such a splendid specimen chose a grey, infirm mate, everyone was shocked. And even more naturally, when Inoday began greying himself, no one at all was shocked. He had it coming, you see.

Contending with a late-onset illness, as well as Nakti's degeneeration, Inoday was pressed to begin searching in earnest for a permanent physician. After a series of rejections-- wrong specialty, unwillingness to commit to long-term or end-of-life service, plain old superstition against greyed coatls-- the pair found themselves taking refuge with the Natorei Cell.

The first doctor in the cell, a shining yellow coatl, refused them without a second look. However, the second, a quiet and unassuming mirror, agreed to take them on. He could quell Inoday's symptoms entirely, and thouh he couldn't stop the advance of Nakti's degeneration, he could ease her pain. Though Inoday initially protested-- they could do better, they could cure her, they could-- Nakti persuaded him to accept the offer.

While Nakti stood by her decision for the rest of her days, Inoday came to regret it more than he could have imagined.
