Dahlia behaves as if she were Corona's fairytale princess — and rightly so, for if Corona was a monarchy, she would be. After Petal's children joined the ranks of the Windsinger, the matriarch had only the orphaned Dahlia and Aster to dote over during the clan's early years. Indeed, Dahlia has been adored almost to the point of spoiling; however, spoiled she is not. (Her brother, perhaps, is another case.) Dahlia obsesses over each member of the clan, swishing about in spiral fashion to tend to their needs and solve their problems whenever Petal cannot. Yet the energetic young thing is so very naive; aside from her parents leaving, a small moment that she hardly remembers, her world has been nothing but happy and perfect. As a result, sometimes Dahlia can't comprehend the harsher realities of the world around her. Only time will tell if Dahlia's fairytale has a happy ending, but until something changes, she will continue singing to the birds.
