Joxepa is a prideful and solitary dragon who prefers to be on his own, with the exception of the few individuals he recognises as equals and friends. He keeps his snout pointed to the skies most of the time and dislikes interacting with "lowly" dragons. He spends most of his time laid on a rock overlooking the center of the clan, watching and criticizing his fellow clan mates while constantly polishing his pearl. When the weather is bad, or when he is fed up with being surrounded by "low class" dragons, Joxepa will stay in his cave and read books on aristocrats and rich people dragons

Among those that Joxepa acknowledges is his familiar, Wyren. He likes to explore the wilderness, chase fishes around corals and play with young dragons. He also loves to disturb Joxepa when he tries to read. The moment he realises that Joxepa may be reading, he will stop whatever he is doing to race back to Joxepa's cave to flop himself across his book and take a nap.
