The Guide.
Most of Inanna's children have left the clan, whether to seek their fortunes elsewhere or to honor the Gladekeeper directly. Amurru has stayed, though his eyes are always turned to the Behemoth. Many in the lair whisper wagers as to when he will take his own steps towards the great tree and the other realm, but as of yet he stays.
Child of the Queen and Tammuz, her summer lover, could he be anything but fey? The deep Nature magics are his to wield, though he uses them sparingly. A bud coaxed to bloom out of season perhaps, or a bough reshaped to provide a perfect perch. Yet his true charge is to prepare and guide those fated to serve the Gladekeeper. He can see the change, the faraway look that clouds once-bright eyes, and it stirs something in him; he must go to them. No one still among the clan knows what he murmurs in those quiet hours when the two dragons sit motionless, heads pressed together. But at the right moment they rise, and go with grace and dignity to the place where the other realm touches this. Amurru stops at the boundary while his charge continues, their steps unerring, their back straight, and he smiles.
